Dalmore Port Wood Reserve Scotch Whisky is the product of its experimentation with casks that most people wouldn't expect a scotch maker to use. In this case, Dalmore's whiskey has been aged in bourbon casks made out of American white oak before being finished up in port pipes. The result has hints of fruit and spice, which pair well with a controlled measure of sweetness.
